This is an interesting story about building adaptor service which integrates two organizational services to collaborate and provide service to end customer.

Challange

City & Guilds was offering IESOL – paper based assessment is being discontinued. This requirement is to provide the alternative online English language test functionality of the City & Guilds Certificate in International English in Association with the British Council.

This is a business opportunity to develop an employer focused English language offer to meet the requirements of existing customers and for new customers – with improved alignment with vocational education offer.

Customer need to offer a cost effective online test that provides a faster and better turnaround of results than the current paper based provision.

Solution

PearlArc built an Cloud Data Adapter which is cloud based solution with Message Queues, Scheduler and Redis cache using Microsoft Azure Cloud Service Architecture.

PearlArc designed and developed a robust system which interacts with various APIs developed by City & Guilds and British Council to integrate them. PearlArc designs systems which are at par with industry standards and satisfies the most design considerations.
