Digital gift cards can be delivered instantly, or on the date of your choice; just pick their favorite store and leave the shopping up to them. The growth of mobile technology has changed consumers’ preferences about how and when to use digital gift cards. In particular, consumers tend to favor virtual gift cards, especially those delivered to a mobile phone via email or text messaging.

Challange

Reward360 as a company thought of importance of the Digital Gifting and wants to set a platform for digital gifting. Digital gifting could be loosely defined as gifting within the digital ecosystem. Some refer digital gifting as virtual gifting or eGifting or eGift. Digital gifting helps retailers engage consumers by sharing or participating in a recipient’s brand passion. eGift can be used for gifting to yourself (self-use) or others.

Solution

PearlArc joined hands in developing Reward360’s concept of digital gifting into system, as a result is the Piingle mobile app and an ecosystem for gifting. This system consists of

• Mobile App which is a user interface for generating Gifts, it has been developed mobile native code for iOS and Android.

• An Interface built for the merchant at Point of Sale (POS) where merchant can generate or Redeem gifts.

• System allows the users make payments in different modes, along with the Saved Cards feature which is certified by PCI-DSS

• System has been built with various types of reports required for the business

• System has been built with Reconciliation feature to run everyday and settle merchant payments.

Result

Today Piingle App been used by thousands of users for gifting and hundreds of merchants are in the system who are redeeming those digital gifts and it’s a complete digital gifting solution.
